SIMPLEX self-closing covers

The new SIMPLEX cover has been developed for applications which require higher protection for connectors.

The self-closing cover prevents the operator to accidentally leave it open and therefore guarantees a higher level of safety compared to manual closing covers (LS/LP versions).

The new version features:

  • Covers in self-extinguishing thermoplastic material;
  • IP44 protection degree when the cover is closed but not locked with the lever (V-TYPE only);
  • IP65 protection degree when the connector is mated and locked with the lever (both IL-BRID and V-TYPE);
  • Same size as LS/LP enclosures.
